Throughout my career, I have held significant roles in academic institutions, where I have honed my skills in curriculum development, staff supervision, and fostering a conducive learning environment. My experience as a Lecturer at the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka has equipped me with the necessary expertise to effectively lead and manage educational programs.
Having worked extensively in Islamic education, I bring a unique perspective and understanding of students' cultural and academic needs in various nations. I am passionate about empowering students to excel academically while fostering a sense of cultural identity and pride in their heritage. I can also teach Arabic as a second language.
I have experience teaching through online platforms like Zoom and Google Classroom. My teaching methodology is inquiry-based and student-centered, encouraging students to ask questions and take charge of their learning. My courses frequently begin with a real-world problem or historical scenario relevant to the subject, prompting students to analyze, discuss, and debate potential solutions. As a teacher, I seek to foster an environment in which students are encouraged to study, question, and develop. My strength is my ability to connect with pupils on a personal level, making lessons relevant and entertaining.
