I see myself as a combination of facilitator/demonstrator. I use a lot of I do/we do/you do during instructional tasks. I love to use visuals in my teaching, and try to use engaging visual displays in my instruction every day. Whenever appropriate, I incorporate my own sense of humor into instruction- kids seem to respond well to this, and I feel it helps me quickly build a rapport with my students.
I also use different strategies and teaching styles because everyone has a different learning style too. So, it depends on child needs.
