I have always had a deep passion for teaching. Even though I am currently working as a networking engineer in Colombo, my love for teaching has never faded. That’s why I decided to take up teaching as a part time job.
My journey as a teacher started back in my school days. When I was in A/L, there was no teacher for Combined Mathematics at my old school, so I volunteered to teach the subject after my A/L exam. I have loved mathematics ever since my second term in Grade 8, consistently scoring above 97% until my O/L exams. In addition to math, I also have a strong interest in science and civics.
During free periods in school, I would often help my classmates by clearing their doubts. Seeing them understand concepts and succeed gave me immense satisfaction. That feeling of making a difference in someone's learning journey is what truly sparked my love for the teaching profession.
Now, as a working professional, I want to continue sharing my knowledge and passion with students. Teaching is not just a job for me, it is something I genuinely enjoy and find fulfilling.
