I'm very knowledgeable in Accounting, had vast experience (30 years)
Like to ensure that students understand how beautiful accounting is. Like to engage student to try before giving solution. Trying will make understanding meaningful. Once understood, no need to memorise and can apply the knowledge anywhere.
Like to explain how the solution is achieved. This may require a lot of practice ti familar the student with Dr/Cr transaction and applying them to the various cattegory Assets, Liability, Income and Expense. Once this is mastered, every transaction can be written (in terms of Dr/Cr) the rest will be fairly easy, such as constructing the P/L and the Balace Sheet. Will show and explain to student normal items that can be found in P/L (Sales, Cost of Sales, Gross Profit, Net Profit) and Balance sheet (Current Assets, Current liability, Fixed Assets, Long Term Liabilty) Will show student how P/L relates to the Balance Sheet
