I am R.M.D.H. Bandara, a recent graduate from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. I have obtained a B.Sc.Eng (Hons) degree with Second Class Upper Division and an OGPA of 3.58/4.00.
I have been passionate about teaching from an early age, and I have continuously engaged in academic support activities. I have volunteered in Mathematical Camps organized by the Sasanaka Sansadaya since my school days. Currently, I am serving as an Instructor, guiding and mentoring undergraduate students in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Ruhuna.
In addition to my academic background, I possess over two years of teaching-related experience, both formal and informal. I am well-versed in using online platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and LMS, and I have conducted several online sessions for undergraduates during my time at the university. I also have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to flexible teaching schedules.
I am currently seeking a teaching opportunity where I can continue to contribute to student development while enhancing my own experience and skills. I believe I meet your criteria, including:
Minimum 2 years of academic or teaching experience (formal and voluntary)
Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms
Good communication and organizational skills
A strong interest in continuing teaching-related professional development
