As a math teacher I utilizes a variety of teaching styles and methodologies to cater to diverse learning needs and foster a positive learning environment. This includes employing explicit instruction, incorporating hands-on activities, utilizing visual aids, and encouraging collaborative learning. Furthermore, effective I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participate in the learning process.
The modern way of teaching maths focuses on meaning, understanding, and how it can be used. The “traditional” or “drill” idea is different from this. Children should understand and care about what they are learning.
My goal is to encourage and train students to build study habits at school and at home. I include discussions during my class and try to build cooperation between the students so that they can exchange their own ideas and understand different perspectives of the same content.
