Implementing custom training algorithms with biological constraints, incorporating Dale's principle and realistic synaptic dynamics for cognitively-relevant tasks. Conducting mathematical analysis of network behavior through eigenvalue decomposition, correlation functions, and dimensionality reduction techniques to understand representational geometry in neural state spaces. Implemented comprehensive ML pipelines using Python ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) with custom optimization algorithms including Gradient Descent, SGD, and Adam Optimizer to achieve optimal convergence. Conducted mathematical analysis of model performance through loss function optimization, regularization techniques, and hyperparameter tuning to enhance computational efficiency in photonic system design.
