I am Melvin, an exceptional Maths teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience in Cambridge Checkpoint, (IGCSE & GCSE), SAT, JAMB and A-level Mathematics.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics(Education) with 2.1 honours. I also hold a master’s degree in Mathematics & Statistics and the UK QTS. I am certified and licensed by Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria(TRCN), Cambridge International Education,Google for Education,Microsoft Education and Amazon, I am the author of Mathematics Success Formula(MSF) Series, Books 1-6 written for Middle and High school students. I also an examiner/ assessment specialist with Cambridge OCR.
Indeed, I am a result-oriented mathematics educator with robust teaching, examining and management experience and am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. I am known for my dynamic teaching styles and ability to connect with students on a personal level. My classes are not only challenging, but also engaging, hands-on,interactive and fun-filled with a focus on real-world applications of Mathematics. I also encourage students to participate in mathematics competitions and have mentored several award-winning teams. I am passionate about integrating technology into my lessons and have been recognized for my innovative teaching methods by both my colleagues and superiors. I am constantly seeking new and innovative ways to engage my students.Am known for my patience and my ability to inspire students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
