Hi! I’m Malsha — a passionate tutor and a current Computer Engineering undergraduate at KDU. I specialize in teaching Mathematics, Information Technology and English for students from Grade 6 to Grade 11.
My teaching style is student-centered, friendly and interactive, focusing on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorizing facts. I believe that learning should be engaging and tailored to each student’s pace, so I adjust my methods to suit their individual needs.
I’m happy to help with homework, exam preparation and building confidence in academic subjects. Whether a student is struggling or just wants to improve, I create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
What makes me a great teacher is my patience, clarity in explanations and commitment to student success. I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths and challenges and I use creative, real-life examples to make lessons more relatable. My goal is not only to help students perform better in school but to help them enjoy learning and think independently.
I conduct lessons in both English and Sinhala, and I’m available on weekends and weekday evenings.
