I’m a teacher with over a decade of experience in education, currently specializing in IGCSE and A Level Business Studies, as well as IGCSE Economics. Although I began my career teaching English in 2011, I discovered my true passion in 2019 when I started teaching Business Studies. Since then, I’ve found great fulfilment in helping students understand real-world business concepts and develop critical thinking skills.
To strengthen my teaching practice, I’ve actively taken part in professional development, including the Introductory Training for IGCSE Business Studies in 2020 and the Marking Workshop for A Level Business in 2024. In 2024, I was entrusted with teaching IGCSE Economics, and I’ve been focusing on building my expertise in this area ever since. After taking on this role, I joined a Focus on Assessment training to strengthen my understanding of the assessment objectives and marking criteria.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Pakuan University in 2015 and completed my Master’s at Indraprasta University in 2024. My background in language education has been a strong foundation for communicating complex business and economics ideas clearly and effectively.
Over the years, I have consistently supported students in achieving strong academic results. The majority of my students have attained A or A* grades in their IGCSE and A Level Business Studies examinations, reflecting not only their dedication but also my commitment to structured, outcome-focused teaching and individualized support.
In the classroom, I prioritize student-centered learning, real-life application, and exam-focused preparation. I often integrate case studies, structured thinking routines, and data analysis tasks to cultivate analytical and evaluative skills. My teaching style also incorporates formative assessments, differentiated instruction, and scaffolded learning to support students of varying abilities and learning styles.
