I would preferably guide you to know accounting concepts clearly so that you can workout your problems on high understandability. Accountancy is an interesting subject having two concepts in a single transaction.
I would first teach the concepts relating to the chapters and then proceeding to problems.
This would give you high understanding on accounting concepts.
This type of learning I prefer because this makes accountancy easier,make you clear on the concepts. So that you can do any concepts from journal to financial statements.
Having the research experience I can suggest easy understanding of accountancy
