Hi, I'm Lavanya Soyaraja — and I’m passionate about helping students grow through language.
I’m currently a Bachelor of Mass Communication (Hons) graduate from INTI International University, and I’m actively looking to take on a part-time teaching role where I can share my knowledge and enthusiasm for both Tamil and English.
I have a strong foundation in Tamil, having studied both Tamil and Tamil Literature during SPM, and I’m proud to say that the language has always been close to my heart. My proficiency and fluency in Tamil even led me to work as a radio news presenter at Minnal FM (RTM) — a role that sharpened my pronunciation, clarity, and confidence in formal communication.
On the English side, I’ve been consistently trained in the Cambridge English pathway up to the Flyers level, which has equipped me with a solid grasp of English grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills. This background, combined with my communication studies, makes me confident in my ability to teach students English in an engaging, effective, and structured way.
What makes me different as a tutor is not just my academic background but also my communication skills and patience. I always aim to make learning fun, personalized, and stress-free — especially for students who may feel overwhelmed or lack confidence.
