My name is Martha Atyang Oguti.
I am a long serving teacher of Mathematics and Physics with an experience of handling both middle level and high school students for over 14 years now.
I am driven by passion to teach and learn at the same time. I love my job and I am passionate about it. My goal is to ensure that my students understand and acquire knowledge in every lesson and that they excel academically.
My teaching style is mostly interactive. I teach while allowing my students to also share the knowledge they have,ask questions,take notes, solve problems and give awards.
I also use group discussions. I classify students with varied abilities in various cohorts and give them tasks to complete. This gives learners the courage and the confidence to freely disseminate the knowledge they have gathered in the process of learning.
These methods have yielded good results over the years and have earned me promotions in my teaching career. My students have equally excelled and have earned placements to the most coveted career pathways.
Apart from teaching,I am also a qualified Academic Counselor, and I do offer my students free counseling whenever necessary. For I believe that an emotionally stable student is an academic giant and is capable of making remarkable contributions in the world of Academia. I am therefore inspired to inspire before I expire.
