Hey fellow student!
I'm Emre, a soon-to-be Chemistry major in college. I have experiencing teaching swimming to students of all ages, and more recently, I've also been a TA for AP Economics at my High-School, helping my class achieve some of the best marks in school history!
I have experience taking 9 AP Exams, eight of which were fives, including Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, Computer Science, Calculus AB, Chemistry, Micro and Macroeconomics, and more.
I teach through interactive problem-solving and conceptual understanding, as well as reverse engineering sample-solutions when problems are difficult to approach. I try to assign the minimal amount of homework required for proficiency in rudimentary skills required in the course, and leave complex problems to work through together during classes, which students can also work on their own if they seek additional enrichment.
I offer my first class free to ensure my teaching style is a fit for my students, so dont hesitate at all to reach out!

AP Economics Teaching Assistant (Aug, 2024–May, 2025) at HKIS Economics Department - Hong Kong
The TA program allows students to support peers and gain teaching experience. It fosters collaboration, mentorship, and personalized learning, helping mentees better understand the TA's subject which ultimately supports their academic performance. As an AP Economics TA, I prepared and led review sessions before unit assessments. I also provided personalized support to students through one-on-one study sessions out of class. Additionally, during teacher absences, I managed entire lessons and assisted the substitute, which helped me develop my leadership skills in an educational context.
