Philosophy of Education
My teaching philosophies are based on the belief that all students can succeed in mathematics if they are given the appropriate resources, direction, and encouragement. My goal as a teacher is to provide students with the tools, they need to overcome obstacles both within and outside of the classroom, while also inspiring them to have an in-depth understanding and respect of mathematics. And also encouraging the students for participation, teamwork, and confidence
building.
• Student-Centred Learning: I sense that when students are actively engaged in the learning process, they learn
the most. In order to achieve this, I use a student-centred approach to teaching in which I motivate students to
interact with the content through group projects, debates, and problem-solving. I assist students get a deeper
comprehension and appreciation of mathematics by letting them investigate concepts through practical exercises
and real-world applications.
• Emphasis on Conceptual Understanding: In mathematics, I emphasize the significance of knowledge of
concepts over procedural fluency. I work hard to make sure that my students comprehend the fundamental ideas
that represent mathematical concepts in addition to how to solve problems. With the aid of this method, students
can lay a strong foundation that they can use to tackle increasingly difficult problems and further their education.
• Inclusive Teaching Practices: My goal is to establish a welcoming classroom environment where all students
experience support and worth. I understand that students have a variety of backgrounds, learning methods, and
skill levels. In order to address this, I employ a range of instructional strategies to accommodate various learning
styles, such as interactive simulations, visual aids, and technology-enhanced learning tools. Additionally, I try
hard to relate mathematical ideas to my students' hobbies and practical experiences to help them relate to and
understand the topic better.
• Integration of Technology: I use programs like MATLAB, Python, and Microsoft Office to improve learning
and show how mathematical ideas are used in real-world scenarios. This increases student engagement with the
material and gets them ready for careers in the computational and data-driven sectors.
Beyond teaching, I am actively engaged in research, specializing in optimization algorithms and artificial
intelligence. My work includes modifying the Sparrow Search Algorithm (SSA) and developing the GAGAN
Algorithm for solving the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). I believe integrating research into teaching
nurtures an innovative mindset among students and prepares them for future academic and professional challenges.
