Hello, I am Soumya (pronounced Shou-mo in Bengali).

I have completed B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from Presidency College, Kolkata, and M.Math from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, where I also earned my Ph.D. in Cryptology. I am currently engaged in freelance research work.

I offer Mathematics tutoring at the plus-two level, as well as Pure Mathematics subjects such as Real Analysis, Algebra, Number Theory, and Topology at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I also welcome students preparing for competitive exams who wish to build strong foundations in topics like basic number theory, logic, and reasoning.

** My teaching focuses on conceptual understanding and clarity, rather than rote memorization. I usually prefer working with small groups, but individual sessions can also be arranged. Flexible timing is available based on mutual convenience. **
