Teaching Style, Methodologies, and What Makes Me Different
Teaching Style:
My teaching style is student-centered, empathetic, and engaging. I focus on building trust and emotional safety in the classroom first — because students learn best when they feel respected, understood, and supported. I blend structure with creativity, using humor, storytelling, and real-life connections to make learning meaningful.
Methodologies I Use:
Differentiated instruction: I tailor lessons to meet different learning styles (visual, auditory, hands-on) so no one gets left behind.
Inquiry-based learning: I love asking big questions that spark curiosity and lead to deeper thinking.
Positive reinforcement: I build confidence by catching students doing things right — and helping them grow where needed, without shame.
Collaborative learning: Group work, peer support, and class discussions are key. I believe we learn better together.
Reflective teaching: I constantly reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and how to grow — because teaching is a lifelong learning process, too.
Results:
My students become more confident, curious, and motivated to learn. They feel seen and supported — not just as learners, but as people. I’ve noticed they ask more questions, take more risks, and start believing in their potential. That’s a huge win in my book.
What Makes Me Different:
I don’t just teach subjects — I teach humans. I focus on emotional intelligence, not just academics. I believe in meeting students where they are, using kindness, humor, and understanding. I also bring in fresh ideas but respect traditional values like discipline, responsibility, and manners. I strive to be the kind of teacher I wish I had — one who listens, adapts, and genuinely
