With extensive teaching experience both in the UK and Sri Lanka, I bring a strong commitment to helping students succeed academically and build lasting confidence. Having taught Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE and IGCSE Edexcel), I deliver clear, well-structured lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether they require extra support, are English language learners, or are aiming for top grades.

My approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into manageable, understandable parts using real-world examples and practice questions. This method helps students not only grasp concepts but also apply them confidently in exams.

I have worked with a wide range of learners, including those with additional learning needs and high achievers, ensuring personalised support that targets individual strengths and challenges. Beyond teaching, I actively plan curriculum for Key Stage 3, covering a broad range of topics such as databases, animation, game design, graphic design, and web design using HTML and CSS.

Currently, I teach Computer Science at one of Colombo’s leading British international schools, having been trained through one of the top 20% teacher training programmes in the UK. This background equips me with up-to-date pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of exam expectations.

Whether preparing for GCSE or building foundational skills at Key Stage 3, my lessons are designed to boost confidence, improve grades, and foster a genuine understanding of Computer Science concepts.
