Dear Parents and Students,
As mentioned in my profile I have taught in an IGCSE school for about 9 years and have been teaching for 15 plus years. I am committed to the learning of every child. I am careful to understand the needs of a student and then make my learning plans that will cater to their specific needs. I can break down the subject matter to easily manageable chunks and have a clear understanding of what prerequisite knowledge is needed to build the new concept. This helps me design my learning activities in step wise manner. Use of multiple modes to learn a concept sets me apart from all other teachers. For e.g. While learning titration calculations students need to prior mathematical skills like unitary method, basic conversions of units, a step wise understating of the titration process, its use in chemistry and industry and few other concepts. To achieve this level of understanding the learning activities I use are scaffolded gradually while using dual coding, relevant videos, images, online demos and clear and up to the point explanations. A deductive approach is used in teaching to enhance construction of knowledge without simply giving out information.

    Largely the above will be followed. 1500 per hour for grade 6 to 8, 2000 per hout for IGCSE 9 and 10, 2500 for AS level
