I am a passionate and experienced teacher of English and Literature, offering engaging and learner-centered lessons to both junior and senior school students. With a strong command of the curriculum and over 6 years of teaching experience, I specialize in helping learners improve their language skills, critical thinking, and appreciation of literature.

In addition to English and Literature, I have a broad teaching background in Pre-technical Studies, Social Studies, Agriculture and Nutrition, and Christian Religious Education, making me a versatile and well-rounded educator.     As a teacher of four learning areas at Rophine Field Group of Schools, I am responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across multiple subjects, ensuring learners meet academic targets. I tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs, promote critical thinking, and maintain high classroom standards.

    As a class manager of over 35 learners, I oversee the holistic development of my class, maintain discipline, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure effective communication with parents and staff. I also monitor learners’ progress, address individual challenges, and support their emotional and social well-being.I am also in charge of the Drama and the Debate club where I prepare learners for events as am a Judge.

    As an English and Literature teacher at Ruai Girls High School, I was responsible for planning and delivering comprehensive lessons to students in Form 1 to Form 4. My role included preparing students for internal and national examinations, assessing their academic progress, and fostering critical thinking, creativity, and strong communication skills. I also supported learners’ personal growth by promoting a love for reading and an appreciation for literature, while maintaining classroom discipline and contributing to the overall academic goals of the school.
