I hold a First Class Honours Degree in Education (English and Literature) from Kenyatta University and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Linguistics at the same institution. In addition, I am a licensed teacher by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and a certified examiner for both Cambridge (Specialist ID: 833887) and Pearson Edexcel (Assessment Associate No: 609922).
I have more than six years of teaching experience in different curriculum which includes Cambridge IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, AS & A Level and English as a Second Language (ESL). I am also a certified TESOL and TEFL teacher and an essay writing expert, having successfully guided numerous learners in mastering both academic and creative writing forms.
My teaching philosophy is grounded in real-world relevance, inquiry-based learning and the purposeful integration of technology to foster critical thinking, collaboration, inclusive teaching and communication.
Furthermore, my lessons are dynamic, research-informed, and learner-centered, often incorporating real-world examples, guided discovery and project-based learning to ensure deep engagement and meaningful understanding.
