I am a dedicated and experienced teacher with over 35 years in education, including 22 years at Westwood International School and 15 years in Botswana government schools. I hold formal qualifications in Teaching and Physical Education from the University of Botswana. I specialize in working with young children from reception through to Year 6 and have a proven ability to support their academic, physical, and emotional development.

My background includes working with children of diverse needs, including those with Down syndrome and learning challenges. I have completed multiple professional development courses including Special Educational Needs, ADHD Awareness, Safeguarding, and Storytelling for Change. My patient and nurturing nature enables me to engage effectively with children, fostering a safe, fun, and structured environment ideal for both tutoring and babysitting.

Beyond the classroom, I lead community sports activities and am passionate about child development through physical activity. I was responsible for teaching Physical Education at Westwood International School for 22 years. I taught Primary Years Program, which included classes from reception through to Year 6. I have a wealth of experience in this program and have been instrumental in the development of the curriculum maps and unit planners. I worked with class teachers ensuring that I integrate unit topics where possible after doing collaborative planning. I have been working with development teams in soccer, netball and swimming to mention a few.
