I love being a maths teacher because I enjoy helping students feel more confident with numbers. I know maths can be tricky or even scary for some, so I work hard to make it clear and manageable. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and sometimes even humor to keep things light and interesting. Every student learns in their way, so I try different methods to make sure no one feels left behind. I believe that making mistakes is a big part of learning, and I always encourage students to ask questions without fear. My classroom is a space where students feel safe, supported, and respected. I also like using group work and hands-on activities to keep lessons fun and engaging. I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and start to enjoy maths more. I’m always learning myself—trying out new ideas and improving my teaching.
