I am an incoming PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence, Martinsried, Germany. I am interested in understanding the basics of brain sciences. Prior to this I was working as a research scholar at a neuroengineering lab at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. I completed my Masters in Biological sciences and bioengineering with a thesis in olfaction neuroscience from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. I did my Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Raipur, India.
I believe that a concept is well understood when it is well communicated, in the simplest way possible. I find teaching as one of the ways through which I get to explore this idea. Although never formally taught, I look forward to learning alongside students who are open to understand fundamental concepts through discussions and brainstorming. I would be interested to teach any subject to a student (although I have a tad bit more understanding in the sciences), who is just getting started with it and is open to exploring.
I aim to use the power of logic and discussions to fuel deeper understanding in a subject.
