From my vast teaching experience of over 28 years, I’ve learned that every student absorbs music differently. The way one learner understands a note or rhythm may not work for another, and this is where a teacher’s patience, adaptability, and guidance truly matter. My teaching style is based on listening to my students, understanding their strengths and challenges, and explaining musical concepts in simple, relatable ways until they feel completely confident.

I teach Hindustani Classical music, Rabindra Sangeet, Bollywood melodies, and songs from all Indian languages. My unique strength is being able to create impromptu notations for any Indian song, allowing students to learn their favorite songs faster while still building a strong foundation in classical technique. Classes are interactive, engaging, and designed for every level, whether you’re a beginner wanting to sing for yourself or an advanced learner preparing for stage performances or competitions.

Over the years, many of my students—both in India and abroad—have gone on to perform confidently on stage, win music competitions, and develop a lifelong love for singing. My approach combines traditional discipline with a modern, encouraging atmosphere, making sure students feel supported, motivated, and inspired in every class. I believe true learning happens when students not only gain skills but also fall in love with music, and my goal is to make every session a step toward that joy.
