Students have more in them than we could imagine. I groom learners to bring out their potentials and be independent. Before I teach a topic, I ask what they might have known about it and make their knowledge about the topic my starting point. If I got no idea from my learners, I introduce the topic and captivate their minds in the process. After which I let learners practice what I've taught again and again. I give them more time to practice before moving to the next stage of the lesson. It should be the quality of the little they know. After which I let them brainstorm by asking real life question or bringing any learning aids. This has yield a favourable outcome over my years of teaching.
