“I provide in-home ABA therapy, which means I work directly with children in their home environment to help build skills and reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. My sessions are tailored to each child’s needs and daily routines, making the therapy more practical and effective. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervises my work—this means the BCBA creates the treatment plan, oversees progress, and provides ongoing guidance and support to ensure we’re following best practices and making meaningful progress.”
ABA teaching methods use structured (like Discrete Trial Training) and natural (like play-based) approaches to teach skills. Therapists break tasks into small steps, use prompts to guide the child, and reinforce correct responses. Over time, support is faded to help the child become independent.
