    • Being the Deputy Director of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation at The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, I oversaw the design and development of the Competency-Based Curriculum {CBC). I further oversaw the needs assessment study of CBC, piloted the curriculum, and monitored its implementation. I have provided leadership to the research department efficiently, giving professional advice to the CEO and the Institute, and ensuring research proposals and reports are coordinated. I also manage applied and action research to oversee curriculum development, monitoring and evaluation. I have spearheaded research initiatives to maintain KICD's status as a Centre of excellence in curriculum development. I have also supervised the maintenance of a database for curriculum research, organized symposia, and coordinated the dissemination of research reports to stakeholders.
