Wael Issa has been with the Department of Computer Science at Helwan University since 2014. He conducts research in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Medical Image Processing. He received his B.Sc., Pre-M.Sc., and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science in 2013, 2015, and 2019, respectively. His research interests include Machine Learning, Image Processing, Deep Learning, Privacy Preservation, Blockchain, and Federated Learning. Most recently, he received his Ph.D. from the School of Computing at UNSW, Canberra.

Between April 2014 and May 2021, I served as a computer science assistant lecturer, delivering a diverse curriculum encompassing a spectrum of foundational and advanced topics.
This included courses in:
