Hi! I’m Arfa Khan, an MBBS student with a strong passion for teaching math. Even though my main field is medicine, I’ve always had a natural connection with mathematics. I enjoy problem-solving, logical thinking, and explaining concepts in simple ways that make sense—even to students who’ve struggled before.

I’ve been tutoring students in school-level math, including topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic calculus. I focus on helping students understand concepts at their own pace. I never rush through lessons and I don’t mind repeating explanations. My goal is always to create a safe, judgment-free learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My students often tell me they feel more confident after a few sessions—not just because they understand the material better, but because they feel supported. I genuinely care about their progress and try to make learning feel a little less stressful and a bit more enjoyable.

Being a medical student has taught me how to manage time, stay organized, and be dependable. I apply that same dedication to tutoring. I’m also comfortable with online tools like Zoom and Google Meet, so I can easily adapt to virtual sessions and still keep them interactive and engaging.

I don’t see tutoring as a side job—I truly enjoy it and plan to keep doing it even as I continue my journey in medicine. Helping someone go from dreading math to feeling capable and even excited about it is one of the most rewarding things I do.

    I was a freelance tutor during my free time. Now i am currently a final year mbbs student. i aspire to teach kids and make them fall in love with Mathematics. I am a dedicated, hardworking and patient teacher. I tutored kids from grade 1 to grade 10. From helping them complete homework to making them prepare for competitive exams, I have done it all.

Fee details

    ₹400–600/hour (US$4.21–6.32/hour)

    Fee mentioned above is for students from grade 1 to grade 8( min 400- max 600). For grade 9 and 10, i shall charge a minimum of 600 and maximum of 800 . I would prefer online classes. Traveling costs extra.
