I'll make biology fun and easy to learn for you. As a child I've had problems understanding it because I was always convinced biology was all about memorizing. But later with good teachers I realized biology has concepts and once you have a good grasp over those concepts it becomes fairly easy to remember everything like a story.
In my middle school I was scoring around 60%-70% in biology but it jumped to more than 90% in high school. I've obtained a perfect score in biology in undergraduate entrance exams. It's been a few years since I passed my higher secondary but even to this day I remember the NCERT line by line for the most part. Not because I've memorized it, but because I understood every word on that book and thus hopefully I'll remember it for life.
I've also observed sometimes it's difficult to understand NCERT because they don't explain anything in detail. It's like they have compressed 10 lines into 1 line. In order to understand that 1 line you'll need to one or more concepts. But once you do, everything becomes clear like water. So let me do that for you.
What I say might sound like a stretch, but it's not believe me. I was not doing good in my earlier half of the school in biology, I was an ICSE board student, but later once I could understand those concepts my score exponentially increased.
