Hello Everyone,

My name is Kushal Gopikaramanan, and I am 24 years old from Bangalore, India. I have an Aerospace Engineering background, and I am currently a cadet pilot at National Flying Training Institute. Growing up I have had a lot of experience working with a lot people from various different backgrounds and cultures, as I grew up in Nigeria, The Netherlands and for the later bit in India. I had gone to The United Kingdom for my engineering as-well.

I want to help aspiring pilots, make the correct choices in terms of what it is required to become a pilot and be kind of a mentor, help give guidance every step of the way, and to share with them insights of how it is to fly and how its is being pilot, at least in the training stage

I have completed all of my DGCA papers including RTR, and I have over 100 hours of flying experience from both India and the United Kingdom. I am currently in my Solo Cross Country Flying phase and I am looking to get my license by the end of the year. I especially excel in Technical General and Navigation as I have an engineering background, how ever I can also help with Meteorology, Air Regulations and Aircraft Specific Papers as-well. I can help solve doubts in RTR and help prepare for both Part 1 and Part 2.

I like to teach by first trying to understand my students, and how they learn as everyone learns differently. I want to teach them to understand the subject and not just to study to pass the exam, as flying is a very hands on profession, and learning for the exam right now will only increase your workload later on. I will teach each topic until the student understand and will share materials to watch and read to help better learn the subject. I will only be teaching one student at a time (unless requested by parents to have more).

I am looking forward to working with aspiring pilots from all around and looking to make new colleagues to share the sky with.
