I have several years of experience teaching Mandarin to primary and secondary school students, including both native speakers and foreign learners. My teaching journey has allowed me to work with a wide range of age groups, typically from ages 6 to 16, and across various levels—from beginners to students preparing for IGCSE Mandarin (as a Second Language and Foreign Language).

I conduct lessons both in-person and online, adapting my methods to suit different learning styles and abilities. To make learning engaging and effective, I incorporate various strategies such as role-play, mind maps, visual aids, and guided writing tasks. I strive to make each lesson meaningful, encouraging students to not only improve their language skills but also to enjoy the process of learning Mandarin.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing students gain confidence especially those who initially struggle or feel uninterested. I make it a point to build rapport, understand their needs, and provide individualized support. I also offer trial sessions to help students and parents determine the right fit before committing to a regular schedule.
