I teach not to pass exam but to learn properly so that they can create alaap taaan independently without any hesitation.
I starts with alankaaras and later with ragaas,later bhajans and light music related to that raaga, leaning vocal with harmonium is a nessasary thing that's why I always teach my student to learn bot, no separate charges for harmonium and I am flexible with students regards to timing and teaching pattern,they should understand how tabala harmonium works in a systematic manner, I prefer individual classes and also group sessions.
