Good Day!
I am interested in applying for Math Tutor for your 9 year old child. A 2015 graduate in Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Curriculum at Batangas State-University, ARASOF, Nasugbu, Philippines; I have student teaching experience on the fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade level. I believe my teaching experience and passion make me an ideal candidate for a teaching position at your school. I may not be a Native English Speaker but I believe that my experiences and qualifications suit this position.
I have two years teaching experience in private school in the Philippines and eight years in Thailand. I have experience teaching pre-school, elementary, junior and senior high-level students in a variety of settings. I am currently teaching English, Mathematics, Values Education, Christian Living and Filipino in a multi-grade school. Your school emphasizes a serious teacher who wants to make a significant impact on the students, so I think my varied experiences would make an asset to your program.
I’ve been a coach of the 1st Place Winner in Spelling Contest in Grade 2 and 3 during the 2016 District Literacy and Literary Competition at Jacobo Zobel Elementary School, Calatagan, Batangas.
And also, I’ve been a coach of the 2nd Place Winner in the District Elimination of the 2015-2016 MetroBank-MTAP, DepEd Math Challenge in Grade 3.
I attended training sessions about Software Manipulation like MSWord, MS Excel, and MS Power Point. Another training for “Division-Wide 5-Day Training Workshop on the Content and Pedagogy for the Enhancement of Mathematics Instruction Under K to 12 Curriculum”.
I have earned 36 units for Master of Arts in Education Major in Administration and Supervision in the Philippines.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make an impact to your child.
