My teaching style is a balance of structure and adaptability. I believe that every learner has a unique path to language mastery, so I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, level, and learning preferences. Whether teaching General English or preparing students for IELTS, I combine clear explanations, targeted practice, and real-world examples to make lessons both practical and engaging.
For IELTS preparation, I focus heavily on understanding the test’s format and criteria. Students learn exactly what examiners are looking for, and we practice strategies to maximize their performance under timed conditions. In Speaking, I work on fluency, vocabulary range, and pronunciation while ensuring ideas are coherent and well-developed. In Writing, I emphasize task achievement, logical organization, and precise grammar—the same skills that helped my own student score 7.0 in Writing and overall 7.0 on the IELTS.
My methodology blends modern resources with proven techniques. I use Cambridge IELTS materials, authentic practice tests, and targeted grammar/vocabulary resources to strengthen weak points quickly. Lessons are interactive, with feedback provided immediately so students can see and correct their mistakes in real time.
What makes me a great teacher is my ability to combine examiner insight with a student-focused approach. As a Test Coordinator and IELTS Speaking Examiner, I understand exactly how assessments are conducted and what separates a Band 6.5 from a Band 7.5. This allows me to give precise, actionable feedback that directly impacts scores. I set high standards for my students, but I also give them the tools, motivation, and confidence to meet—and often exceed—those standards.
My ultimate goal is not just to help students pass a test but to equip them with the communication skills that will serve them in academic, professional, and personal contexts for years to come.
