Hello! My name is Shayma. I enjoy helping students see that Math can be clear and enjoyable. My lessons are interactive and supportive, and I always adapt to each student’s level and needs. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, exploring new ideas, and learning languages.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics.
Although I don’t have formal classroom teaching experience, I have been teaching my two daughters (middle school and high school) all their subjects for several years, including Mathematics. Additionally, I teach Arabic to an international student, and she has made great progress. These experiences helped me develop patience, creativity, and the ability to explain concepts in simple and clear ways.

My methodology:

- I focus on simplifying ideas and connecting them to real-life examples.

- I use interactive tools such as online whiteboards and practice exercises.

- I encourage students to solve problems step by step, building confidence.

- I tailor lessons to each student’s individual goals and pace.

My aim is not only to improve grades but also to make students enjoy learning and feel confident in Mathematics.

    I'm teaching Arabic to an American woman living in Egypt. She's learning Arabic from scratch, and she wants to use it in everyday conversations. We've made remarkable progress so far, with her reading and writing proficiently, and we're now working on speaking. This took only three months, with one class per week.
