My background in ESL teaching, plus my time in various school settings, makes me eager to help students around the world learn English. I love to teach and am very adaptable and sensitive to what different students need
in the classroom. This allows me set up a classroom where students - both adult and young learners - feel supported and actively participate in the lesson as they pick up the language.

I tailor my teaching to each student using tech and different tools to meet their specific needs. Also, I bring in projects and tasks that solved problems to help students use English in everyday situations.

In addition to my ESL background, I have taught dance, cooking, and STEM subjects (Math & Biology). As a Dance Instructor and
Step Coach, I created lesson plans that highlighted physical coordination and cultural history – preparing students for their end-of-year culmination performances. I also taught STEM curriculums to young students, helping them explore difficult topics through hands-on activities. Splat & Scratch, Dash Robots (Wonder Labs), Makers Space, Lego Robotics and chemistry lab experiments of various sorts are just a few of the curriculums I am familiar with. These jobs have given me the ability to teach many subjects
improving my skill to connect with students who learn in different ways.

I believe my love for teaching, along with my world view and varied teaching jobs, will help me make a difference in your learning journey. I'm eager to talk about how my skills and experience fit with what you need.
