Professional Summary: A Teacher's Perspective
With over two decades of comprehensive experience in diverse support roles, I have cultivated a dynamic and highly adaptable skill set that I am eager to apply to the field of education. For 12 years, I had the privilege of full-time homeschooling my two eldest children, an experience that taught me the true meaning of personalized learning and dedication. I'm so passionate about homeschooling that I'm preparing to do it all over again in seven years for my third child. My children flourished under this approach, and I genuinely believe that homeschooling is one of the best educational paths a parent can take.
My career has been built on providing robust support, optimizing efficiency, and fostering effective communication—all of which are core to a successful learning environment. In my previous roles, I've managed administrative operations and provided crucial support to directors and their teams, which has honed my ability to understand and meet the needs of diverse groups. My expertise in areas such as client liaison and problem-solving translates directly to the classroom, where I can build strong relationships with students and parents and find creative solutions to academic and social challenges.
I am proficient in leveraging a wide range of software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, which allows me to create engaging learning materials and manage classroom administration efficiently. My experience with bookkeeping assistance and marketing support has given me a unique perspective on the operational side of an organization, which can be invaluable in contributing to school initiatives and managing classroom resources.
I am confident that my extensive experience, coupled with a passion for helping others grow and succeed, makes me a dedicated candidate ready to contribute my skills to a challenging and dynamic learning environment.

The Nature of the Service
The core of my pricing is based on what I teach and how I teach it.
* Subject Matter: I set different rates for different subjects. A core subject like math or English has a standard rate, but more specialized subjects like advanced science or a foreign language may cost more because they require deeper, more specific knowledge.
* Academic Level: The curriculum for students aged 7 to 14 is more complex than for younger children. This higher level of difficulty demands more preparation and expertise on my part, so my fees for this age group are higher.
* Session Format: My one-on-one tutoring is the most expensive option because it's completely personalized. To make my services more accessible and to increase my hourly earnings, I also offer small group sessions. Parents get a reduced rate per student, and I can help more children at once.
The Client's Circumstances
I also consider the specific needs and location of my clients.
* Location: If I travel to a student's home for in-person tutoring, my fees will vary depending on the distance. In some cases, I'll include a separate travel fee or build that cost into a higher hourly rate to account for my time and fuel.
* Pricing Models & Discounts: To appeal to different families, I offer a few pricing options:
* A straightforward hourly rate.
* Session packages with a small discount for those who commit to a block of sessions.
* Sibling discounts to make my services more appealing and affordable for families with more than one child needing help.
