Hello! I’m Marvellous Chieke, a dedicated and passionate Mathematics tutor based in Owerri, Nigeria. I have extensive experience teaching students from ages 8-16 years, as well as those preparing for mathematics competitions and international exams such as SAT, IGCSE, and ACT.

My teaching style is interactive, engaging, and student-centred. I believe that every student can excel in mathematics with the right guidance, so I adapt my methodology to each learner’s needs, combining step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, problem-solving exercises, and fun challenges like speed math competitions. I create custom lesson plans, practice worksheets, and mock tests tailored to individual learning goals.

Students I have tutored consistently show measurable improvements in grades, understanding, and confidence. Many have achieved success in school exams, state mathematics competitions, and other assessments.

What makes me a great teacher is my ability to simplify complex concepts, motivate students, and build both skill and confidence. Fee details

    ₦3,000–7,000/hour (US$2.19–5.10/hour)

    Base Rate: NGN 3,000 per hour – suitable for basic lessons covering the standard school curriculum for younger or beginner students.

    Intermediate Rate: NGN 5,000 per hour – applies to senior students (JSS3 / Basic 6) or those preparing for exams like WAEC, NECO, or school-level competitions.

    Advanced Rate: NGN 7,000 per hour – for specialized lessons, including:

    Math competition preparation (Math Olympiad, state-level contests)

    International exams (IGCSE, SAT, ACT, GRE)

    Custom lesson plans, worksheets, and progress tracking.
