Am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Philosophy studies in Biomedical Sciences at Maseno University area of a specialization in Medical Cytology and Histology. I have also successfully completed a Master's degree in Molecular Biosciences from Bharathidasan University-India, in the year 2012. In 2009, I successfully completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Industrial Microbiology, Chemistry, and Zoology as first and second minors, respectively at Karnataka University, India. I am a Part-time lecturer currently in Pwani University (PUPLT-0586) and KMTC -Kilifi, and have also taught since 2013 in many different Universities, as reflected in my curriculum vitae. Have also been attached to reputable research institutions such as the Medical Research Foundation-India, for various project works. My area of specialization includes but is not limited to: Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Immunology, Biochemistry, Parasitology, and Microbiology. Have worked with quite a number of samples from plant, microbial, to human samples for data collection and analysis during my research studies.
I am passionately interested in joining this platform to be a passionate mentor to students. My teaching will include all methodologies and available resources to disseminate knowledge to learners. Related to my area of interest and specialization as reflected in the reference above. I have experience in these particular areas mentioned above, as it aligns perfectly with my academic and career interests in teaching and research. I believe that my educational background and passion for these particular areas make me a strong mentor and one devoted to taking you to the next step in these areas have well trained. Having trained well and participated in research projects involving different areas of study. I am very hard-working and a team player too.
As reflected in my Curriculum Vitae, am able to write research protocols and run them effectively in the Laboratory with ease. I have acquired skills to operate advanced machines such as Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Gel Documenter, Flow Cytometer, and so many others.
I hope my drive and abilities in these areas will truly be an asset to the establishment of your endeavors. Therefore, I would be grateful to be honoured for any consideration and update as I look forward to walking this path of mentorship in academics. Thank you in advance.
