I am an experienced Mechanical Engineering faculty member with 7 years of teaching experience (2017–2024) as an Assistant Professor and currently a PhD Research Scholar in Additive Manufacturing. Over the years, I have taught and guided a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate students in both classroom and practical settings.

My core teaching expertise includes Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Unconventional Machining Processes, and Additive Manufacturing. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple explanations, ensuring students not only understand the theory but also know how to apply it in solving problems, real-world case studies, and research projects.

Being a researcher in Additive Manufacturing, I bring the latest industry and academic insights into my teaching, helping students connect classroom learning with modern technological advancements. I also incorporate CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS) wherever necessary, so students gain practical exposure along with strong fundamentals.

Students who learn with me can expect:

Clear step-by-step explanations of concepts

Guidance in solving numerical and analytical problems

Support for academic projects, lab reports, and research work

Training that builds confidence for exams, placements, and higher studies

My teaching style is student-friendly, interactive, and application-oriented, making sure each learner develops a strong foundation while also staying motivated. Whether you are looking for help with university courses, competitive exams, or advanced topics in mechanical engineering, I can provide the right guidance to help you succeed.

Experience

  • Assistant Professor (Jul, 2017Jul, 2024) at 7 years experience in different engineering colleges in kallakurichi
I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for seven years, teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in core engineering subjects. My primary teaching responsibilities included Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Unconventional Machining Processes, and Additive Manufacturing.

Alongside classroom teaching, I guided students in laboratory practice, supervised academic projects, and supported them in developing practical skills relevant to industry. I also integrated design and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Fusion 360 into my teaching, ensuring students gained hands-on exposure to modern engineering practices.

During this period, I contributed to curriculum development, organized workshops and seminars on advanced manufacturing technologies, and mentored students preparing for higher studies, research, and technical competitions. This experience has given me a strong foundation in engineering education, technical training, and research guidance, particularly in the fields of advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing technologies.

The rate is based on the complexity of the subject, level of students, and preparation required.

    Basic Subjects (₹400–₹600/hr)

Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics (UG Level)

These require foundational explanation and practice, hence the base rate.

    Intermediate Subjects (₹600–₹800/hr)

    Strength of Materials, Machine Elements

More problem-solving, derivations, and numerical applications are involved, requiring additional preparation time and effort.

    Advanced / Specialized Subjects (₹800–₹1000/hr)

Unconventional Machining Processes, Additive Manufacturing (AM)

These are specialized, research-oriented topics that are not commonly taught by all tutors. Teaching them requires up-to-date knowledge, industrial/research exposure, and advanced explanation skills, which justifies the higher rate.
