I am a teacher of English language and literature. I have more than twenty years of experience at a university and many colleges.
My work is my great passion. I love to share the beauty of words with my students.
I teach many different books, poems, and plays. We look closely at the language and talk about the big ideas inside the stories. I help my students to understand difficult texts and to find their own strong voice in writing. We think deeply about how a story is built and what it can tell us about our world.
My goal is always to create a space where every student feels they can speak and share their thoughts. It is a true joy to see a student discover a new idea or fall in love with a book. After all this time, I still find great excitement in every class.
