My name is Alaknanda. I took training to teach Abacus, Vedic mathematics and phonics. My goal was to help my twin daughters in developing strong numeracy and literacy skills. I have been training them since they were 4 year olds. The phonics lessons enabled them to be independent readers by the time they turned 6. The abacus lessons helped them to learn to focus. It has immensely helped them at school. I have taught abacus online to students from India, USA, Australia and Oman. Parents have always shared positive feedback about how their kids enjoy the lessons and the practice.
