Assalamu alaykum,
I am a native Arabic speaker and qualified teacher of Arabic, Qur’an and Islamic Finance. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Qur’an and Arabic) and a PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance. I have more than five years of experience teaching Arabic language and Islamic subjects at university and in community classes.
I teach:

Arabic reading, writing and speaking

Qur’an recitation with tajweed

Qur’an memorisation and basic tafsir

Arabic for beginners and intermediate learners

Introduction to Islamic Finance and Islamic Banking (for adults and university students)

I enjoy teaching both children and adults. My lessons are patient, friendly and structured. I like to explain slowly, give many examples and use repetition so that students feel confident. For children I use simple stories, games and Qur’an memorisation plans. For adults I focus on clear goals, correct pronunciation and understanding of the language of the Qur’an, as well as clear and practical explanations in Islamic Finance.
I can teach in Modern Standard Arabic and classical Arabic, and I use English when needed to support understanding. I am happy to prepare personalised lesson plans for each student according to their level and needs.
