I am currently working as a resident physician and I am looking to tutor because of my personal interest in teaching. I am a summa cum laude graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine. For transparency, I scored 246 on USMLE Step 1 (2020), 253 on Step 2 CK (2021), and 240 on Step 3 (2022). Over the course of my medical school and residency career, I have several years of experience tutoring pre-clinical and clinical students.

My tutoring approach focuses on building understanding rather than memorization.Teaching methods include using presentations, vignettes, rapid-fire questioning, and the teach-back method to ensure understanding of difficult material. I specializes in biochemistry, physiology, neurology, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal systems, and tailor each session to individual learning styles to maximize USMLE success.

Fee details

    US$20–40/hour (US$20–40/hour)

    The first lesson is $20/hr. Subsequent lessons are $30/hr, which is generally what most students pay. It can occasionally be $40/hr if my schedule is packed.
