I am a dedicated and academically driven mathematics student with a strong foundation built through years of competitive training, university-level study, and hands-on tutoring experience. Having secured a state rank in the Mathematics Olympiad, achieved All-India Rank 3 in Abacus, and consistently ranked highly in national mock examinations in India, I bring both depth of knowledge and a long-standing passion for problem-solving. Throughout school and university, I have excelled academically—scoring 97.6% in Grade 10, 91% in Grade 12, and achieving strong results in subjects such as algebra, analysis, statistics, and scientific computing.
Alongside my studies, I have several years of experience tutoring students during my gap year and university terms. These experiences taught me how to explain difficult ideas clearly, strengthen students’ foundational understanding, and adapt my teaching style to individual needs. My roles as Class Leader and University Ambassador further developed my communication, patience, and ability to support and motivate others.
I have also gained valuable analytical experience beyond the classroom. I worked as an Operational Research Analyst for the UK government and later completed a research internship, earning second prize for my project. I regularly take part in Kaggle competitions, mathematical modelling challenges (including Simon Marais), and independent research explorations such as studying the Beal Conjecture. These experiences strengthen my logical thinking and problem-solving skills—qualities I bring directly into my tutoring.
Outside academics, years of training in gymnastics, competitive stunt cheerleading, and swimming have shaped my discipline, focus, and perseverance. They reflect the way I approach teaching as well: with consistency, encouragement, and resilience.
As a tutor, my goal is to help students build genuine understanding rather than rely on memorisation. I create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and are encouraged to think critically. Whether supporting with foundational concepts or advanced problem-solving, I am committed to helping each student progress, gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
