With a PhD in Power Electronics and over a
decade of experience spanning both academia and industry, I bring a well-rounded skill set in designing, developing, and validating advanced power electronics systems. My career began in the industry as a Senior Power Electronics R&D Engineer, where I developed strong technical expertise in high-power
Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS), forming a robust foundation for my technical and operational proficiency in all aspects of power electronics.
For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of teaching and sharing my passion for Power Electronics with future engineers. This experience has not only honed my ability to convey complex ideas but also helped me stay updated on emerging technologies.
In addition to my academic background, I have held diverse industrial roles across multiple sectors:
• At a leading elevator company, I led the development of IGBT-based motor drives for
elevators and escalators, achieving a breakthrough module that enabled smooth stopping for elevators.
• In the automotive sector, I designed a 3.5kW EV charger tailored for three-wheeler
electric vehicles, showcasing my ability to innovate within the fast-evolving automotive landscape.
• During my tenure at an engineering and technology company, I led a team of 10
engineers in designing and validating Onboard Chargers (OBCs) for electric vehicles, including models with integrated DC/DC converters.
Currently, as a HW Electronics Architect, I focus on high-voltage architecture design for electric vehicles, including recent projects involving both OBC and DC/DC systems. These experiences have strengthened
my ability to manage complex projects and uphold high-quality standards from the lab to the production
floor.
Beyond technical work, I am passionate about mentoring young engineers and staying informed about
advancements in power electronics and renewable energy technologies.
