I have studied for UPSC civil services before and I did both my graduation and post graduation in humanities. I have a deep understanding of Civics as a subject as the subject I specialise in, that is Public Administration, is built on its foundation.
I consider myself a socially and politically conscious person and would be grateful to help shape a person into an active citizen. I believe exposure to social sciences is necessary for holistic development of a person: it pushes her to see the world in a clear and unbiased manner. The kind of vision whose fruits can be reaped in interpersonal relations too.
I want to teach a child how and why seemingly complex yet simple machineries are set up by Constitutions across the world and would want to see the spark in a child's eyes when she finally starts to get the "why" of the political world around her.
