I am a learner myself, students and let's learn together because learning is fun when you learn with someone alongside. (just kidding, my board results for 2 years of my offline full time teaching was 100% and average score was 32(out of 70 in theory).
IP in Grades 11 and 12 is all about data storage, data analysis and data manipulation. Both Python and SQL are important tools for the above mentioned purposes. Let's learn with fun, facts, and a lot of practicals and learning through practicals is how a great problem solver one can become.
Programming world is all about problem solving, making existing solutions easier and better.
I like to teach the theory parts first in Grades 11, followed by Python and ending the syllabus with SQL. Continuing the flow of syllabus in Class 12 with SQL, followed by Python and end it with the remaining theory parts. It is the most efficient way for me to teach students not just for greater understanding, but to achieve a decent amount of score in the examinations.
